We would also like to congratulate Camden Morgante (Tap 17), this year's Department of Behavioral and Social Sciences award recipient, Katie Gee (Tap 20) for the Anthropology award, and Brooke Upton (Tap 23) for the Church Music award.

Little Sisters

It is always exciting when an Omega member is tapped as a little sister for one of the men's Greek clubs at Lee University. We would like to congratulate the following ladies as little sisters.

Rosie Holsinger was tapped as Sweetheart of Theta Delta Kappa in Spring 2008.
Elizabeth Lisic (Tap 21) was tapped as a Honorary Little Sister for Theta is Spring 2008.
Rosie Holsinger (Tap 17) and Tiffany Sawyer (Tap 18) are Little Sisters for Theta Delta Kappa Tap 30.

Engagements

It is always a pleasant surprise when a member or alumnus of Omega announces an engagement. We want to congratulate all of the couples on their decision to join together in marriage. Our prayers are with you as you plan your wedding and begin the journey of life together. May God richly bless you as you create a bond of love that will last forever. Never forget...Omega Alpha Phi, devoted till we die!
 

Chris Morris (Tap 20) is engaged to Lauren Harris. Chris is also a member of Theta and Lauren is a member of Epsilon Lambda Phi.

The couple plans to marry in 2008.

Big Brother Patrick Long (Tap 22) is engaged to Chelsea Thornhill. Patrick is also a member of Theta and Chelsea is a member of Epsilon Lambda Phi.

They plan to marry in Fall 2008.

Brandi Haviland (Tap 13 Alum) is engaged to Brian Kelton. Brandi is a 2004 graduate of Lee. Brian is a member of Theta Delta Kappa and Campus Choir.

The two will marry July 19, 2008 at Mountain Meadows Church of God.

Omega sisters and roommates Kristen Sawyer (Tap 14) and Joy Westervelt (Tap 20) are the Maids of Honor and Becky Norton DuBose (Tap 14) is a bridesmaid. Nate Short (Tap 18) is a groomsman.

Alumna Rachael DiGiulio (Tap 5) and Big Brother Alumnus Stephen LaMagna (Tap 10) celebrated their engagement on November 4, 2007 in Venice, Italy.

The happy couple will marry June 15, 2008 in Wheaton, Illinois.

Two very special members of Omega also celebrated their engagement on November 2, 2007. Tiffany Sawyer (Tap 18) and Tyner Brooks (Tap 15, Alum) will marry on June 28, 2008 in the bride's hometown in Mississippi.

Omega sisters NaKisha Haymon (Tap 18), Carrington Miller (Tap 16), Jaime Butler (Tap 21), and Megan Ramsay (Tap 18) will be bridesmaids.
 

DeaAnna Buell, an alumna of Tap 12, is engaged.

Marriages

Omega would like to offer their congratulations to our alumni who have recently been married.

Omega was thrilled to share in the wedding of two of our own members. Micaleah Willard (Tap 19, Alum) and Joe Parker (Tap 17, Alum) married on March 1, 2008. They got engaged November 2, 2007. They were also both members of Pi Kappa Pi.

Big sister of the bride, Rosie Holsinger (Tap 17) was the as maid of honor.

Alumna Nicole Campbell from Tap 16 wed Josh Lavigne, a 2002 Lee graduate, on February 16, 2008.

Nicole is now a fifth grade teacher in Dalton and Josh is a firefighter in Cleveland.

Rachel Hines (Tap 15) was a bridesmaid.

Lindsay Clanton of Tap 19 and Bobby Corley married on December 28, 2007 at Westmore Church of God. A reception at Five Points Museum followed.

Omega sisters NaKisha Haymon (Tap 18) and Jami Crouse (19) were bridesmaids.

Two of our own, Alicia Holmes of Tap 17 and Austin Thacker of Tap 21 married December 21, 2007 in St. Augustine, Florida.

Kristen McDonald (Tap 8, Alumna) married Christopher Brice on November 3, 2007 at Covenant Life Family Church. Chris serves as the Graphics Artist and Kristen is the Events Coordinator.

The couple now lives in Dallas, Texas where they attend Christ for the Nations.

Chris Sloan, a Big Brother from Tap 20, married Ashley Pippin on October 14, 2007.

Janah Daniel of Tap 13 married Michael Williams on August 10, 2007 in Cullman, AL. The couple lives Franklin, TN.

Janah travels and sings full-time for the group Day One. Michael is a 2000 Lee graduate with a degree in Pastoral Ministries. He works at Superior Roofing in Nashville as their project manager, and sings with Next Edition.

Danielle Oakley (Tap 13) was a bridesmaid.
 

Talitha Halligan of Tap 16 and Dallas Kyle married August 4, 2007. They now reside in Gallitan, Tennessee.

Little sister of the bride Megan Ramsay (Tap 18) was a bridesmaid.

The wedding of Allyson Foelker of Tap 17 and Matthew Warren took place on July 28, 2007 at Broad Street United Methodist Church in Cleveland.

Allyson currently works as the Campus Tour Coordinator at Lee and will graduate in December 2007. Matt is a 2005 Lee graduate and works as an Admissions Counselor.

Emerald Hulgan Williamson (Tap 17), Sarah Chandler (Tap 15), and Rachel Hines (Tap 15) served as bridesmaids.

Big Brother Brad Mizer (Tap 17) married fellow Lee graduate Leah Green on July 28, 2007.

Lindsey Kyles (Tap 14) and Jesse Fletcher wed on July 7, 2007 at Westmore Church of God. A reception at the Cleveland Country Club followed.

Lindsey now works for Precept Ministries in Chattanooga. Jesse will graduate with a Pastoral Ministry degree in December 2007.

Omega alumna Tricia Gillum (Tap 15) was the maid of honor, while Omega alumni Heidi Miller Estep (Tap 14), April Auger (Tap 15), and Rachel Hines (15) were bridesmaids.

An alumna from Tap 14, Jessica Whitter married Josh Hanson on July 7, 2007 in Knoxville, TN where the couple now resides.

Omega alum Samantha Ash Dillenback (Tap 15) was the matron of honor and Shannon Taylor Balram (Tap 14) was a bridesmaid.

Births

Children are a gift from God and Omega is happy to congratulate their alumni on their new additions to their families.

 

Head sponsor Kerrie (Lee) Stewart (Tap 3) and Mark "Stewie" Stewart (Tap 21) welcomed their second child, son John Cason, on November 26, 2007.

Leslie (Cordell) Ailsworth (Tap 10) and David Ailsworth (Tap 12) are proud to announce the birth of their daughter Savannah Grayson Ailsworth. She was born October 15, 2007 at 12:43 pm. She weighed 8 lbs 14 oz and was 21 inches long.
