Phi Eta Sigma
is the original Honor Society for first-year
students. First established at the
University of Illinois over eighty years
ago, the society seeks to encourage and
recognize superior scholastic achievement
among members of freshman classes all across
the nation. With over 350 chapters, and
nearly one million members nationally, Phi
Eta Sigma received an enthusiastic welcome
to Lee University for the first time in Fall
2008, when Grand National
Secretary-Treasurer Dr. John W. Sagabiel
chartered our initial chapter on campus. | |
